Solutions Provider – Resourceful problem solver.
Customer Focused – Always delivering the best experience.
Create visually compelling seasonal color designs using annuals, perennials, woody ornamentals, and mixed container elements.
Develop planting plans with design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, DynaScape, or similar).
Stay ahead of plant availability, color trends, and bloom timing.
Recommend substitutions as needed for crop or inventory changes.
Collaborate with Sales, Urban Production, and clients to align designs with site conditions, maintenance needs, and color preferences.
Conduct site visits for inspiration, measurements, and photography.
Maintain a portfolio of Signature and Standard designs for recurring clients.
Oversee select installations to ensure quality and design intent.
Archive seasonal designs, plant lists, and notes for future reference.
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Design, Horticulture, or related field (required)
MNLA Landscape Certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
AutoCAD and/or design software proficiency (required)
2+ years of seasonal color or related floral/horticulture design experience (preferred)

Excellent sense of color, scale, and spatial design
Strong knowledge of plant material for upper Midwest zones

Primarily office/design studio-based with frequent client site visits.
Ability to lift 25–40 lbs and work outdoors during site visits.
Seasonal peaks may require extended hours in spring and fall.
