As a Medical Copywriter at LSD, you'll be immersed in high-level strategic work and have a seat at the table with senior leaders at top pharmaceutical companies. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to shape narratives that are not only scientifically rigorous but emotionally resonant - across brand, patient, and HCP communications.

Roles and Responsibilities CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
  • Develop well-crafted, strategically aligned, and regulatory-compliant content, with accurate referencing for both internal and external review.
  • Deliver high-quality first drafts that are 90–95% on-strategy by deeply understanding project goals, audiences, and client expectations.
  • Write across a variety of channels, formats, and audience types - from HCPs to patients and internal stakeholders.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE
  • Act as a subject matter expert in key therapeutic areas, providing clients and internal teams with confidence and clarity.
  • Review and interpret complex clinical data, transforming it into accurate, accessible, and engaging content.
  • Lead PAAB submissions and negotiations in collaboration with the Accounts team, including crafting responses and guiding copy revisions.
  • Educate internal and cross-functional teams on relevant regulatory updates, their implications, and industry best practices.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & COMMUNICATION
  • Manage multiple concurrent copywriting projects across therapeutic areas and client portfolios.
  • Ensure exceptional quality, accuracy, and consistency - even under tight timelines.
  • Track content development and revision cycles in accordance with scope of work (SOW).
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal stakeholders and clients, helping to drive project excellence.
LEADERSHIP & INITIATIVE
  • Proactively expand your expertise in new therapeutic areas and content formats.
  • Mentor junior writers and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team culture.
  • Bring forward ideas to improve processes and elevate operational excellence within the Copy team.
Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of medical or pharmaceutical copywriting experience, ideally within an agency or fast-paced communications environment.
  • Proven ability to develop persuasive, evidence-based copy across a range of therapeutic areas, channels, and audience types – including HCPs, patients, and regulatory teams.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulatory bodies (e.g., PAAB, ASC, FDA, FTC, EMA), and experience working within compliance frameworks.
  • Strong grasp of legal and compliance requirements, including copyright, referencing, and brand standards.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent conceptual, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and deliver consistently high-quality work.
  • Skilled at managing shifting priorities and multiple deadlines in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects, guiding clients, and collaborating across teams.
